Our plants and solutions help reduce carbon footprints for composites companies.

About

History

TreeFree Solutions, Inc. is a biotech company founded in 1996. Our initial focus was the R&D of patented applications for ADX across our six verticals with scalability and environmental advantages for customers we work with. TreeFree Solutions Inc. was built on a foundation of expertise in propagation and processing fiber from our proprietary plants. Our patented plant fiber, NileFiber™, has applications for environmentally friendly products in the composite building materials industry.

Partners and Advisors

Our focus is on building a respected scientific research and development team able to innovative patented applications across our six verticals. Environmental advantages are the core of our belief and we seek like-minded partners to deepen that commitment. Historically we’ve partnered with universities to explore opportunities in the areas of alternative energy using Arundo to further our mission and vision of Clean Air Clean Earth.

Business Model

Enhancing the environment, supplying green feedstock to companies, and investing in farming communities. Through the establishment of thousands of acres of NileFiber™ farms, we work with farmers, giving them a new “commodity crop” with multiple revenue streams tied to our six market verticals. These are as follows: Composites, pellets, biofuels, livestock forage, pulp & paper, and chemical extraction. The result is competitive environmentally responsible products.

Propagation & NileFiber™

We have has developed a cost-effective, patented propagation system for NileFiber™ that allows us to produce millions of plant starter units for large-scale acreage requirements needed by customers.

R & D

We believe quality green products can replace fossil fuel products and sequester as much as ten times more carbon effectively than trees. NileFiber™ does just that. This is based on its phenomenal growth rate and its ability to adapt to the vast longitude and latitude planting locations. We’ve also partnered with universities to further explore opportunities in the areas of alternative energy. We’ve focused on composite wood and composite buildings materials as our primary source of business. This is due to the incredibly high volume of tree and wood used in the composites industry today and its impact on the environment.

Partnering

We cherish the partners we have worked with to assist us in solving the kind of large-scale problems we have chosen to work on. We can’t accomplish our goals alone. It takes a knowledgeable team and we have worked hard to lay the foundation to a strategy and approach to address impacting the global atmospheric carbon problem all while producing economically sound products in the composite wood industry and applications in our six market verticals.

Our partnerships remain focused on working with industry scientists and advisors in the composites and product-development fields for over fifteen years.

Our Vision

The remediation of roughly 1.8M - 2.5M Tons YOY of atmospheric CO2.

Clean Air remediation. A primary focus - Our Mission is to focus our business on a grass species known at Arundo Donax as a source of superior biomass feedstock suitable for our six verticals of business. With an eye for environmentally driven causes, specifically carbon air remediation, we hope to impact and remediate carbon from the atmosphere equal to or greater than the current output from automobiles in the United States.
Roughly 1.8M - 2.5 Million Tons annually.

Six vertical focus - Treefree Solutions has pursued intellectual property in many verticals including composite building materials, pellets for heating and energy, biofuels, livestock forage opportunities, pulp & paper, and chemical extraction for valuable chemicals and fuels.

Our ecotype portfolio - Our ecotype portfolio contains many superior ecotypes of Arundo donax and is currently planted in four countries in the EU. Our crops can offer a carbon-neutral or carbon-negative closed-loop solution.

Our Wood offset solutions - Planned to expand in 2020-2025, our R&D of ADX into the industry of composite building materials as a wood offset solution remains our focus.

Community sustainability stimulation - As our business model requires working in the farming sector, we aspire to align with the United Nations sustainability goals. Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities is a cornerstone to the success and partnership of our partners in the farming and propagation areas of our operations. Learn more about the other United Nations Goals we aspire to achieve.

Our Mission

Clean Air - Focused on clean air specific to fossil fuel output that is measurable. Focus on "crop assistance" as a solution and revenue stream for companies to use as a primary or secondary CO2 offset solution. Possibly partnering with them in revenues as a feedstock provider to other industries. Further scaling may be possible via the licensing of our solutions to other businesses, organizations, and countries.

Clean Earth - Our mission is further expanded into the responsibility we have as stewards of the planet to clean up the mess we have created. Exploring phytoremediation of soiled lands and offer solutions globally to clients and partners is a facet of business linked to clean air. Our university partnerships research and development have discovered strong phytoremediation capabilities from the ADX plant species. Many phytoremediation opportunities exist specifically in the coal, natural gas, and fracking sites globally. Additionally, superfund sites and other government-owned territories associated with heavy metal remediation needs are also a focus.

Our Harvest

Harvesting NileFiber™ on-site in South Carolina. The site of a small community phytoremediation research and development study to discover the impact of NileFiber™ ability to remediate human waste from soil and its impact environmentally.
